If you want to take a taxi on the street - ask for the price first, so they don't try to rip you off!
Another possibility is also to call a taxi in advance. (There are various taxi providers, some less or more expensive)
Unfortunately, taxi drivers tend to charge more for services, when they know you are foreigner or when you are not careful enough. 
The normal price is about 170 HUF/km
